IOSH Managing Safely



Every manager/supervisor should have an understanding of their responsibilities when it comes to health and safety.

This flexible IOSH Managing Safely course is ideal for getting managers and supervisors up-to-speed with the skills they need to tackle health and safety issues in the workplace. 



There are no pre-requisites however, the course has been designed with the following in mind: Management / supervisory personnel with specific departmental and managerial responsibilities for Health and Safety legislation.


Course Duration:

The course is 4 days in duration. Flexibility can be offered in terms of delivery dates, one day per week over four consecutive weeks, or as a block of four days to meet operational needs.


Optimum Number:

A maximum of 10 delegates per course


Course Language:

The course is delivered in English. Therefore candidates must have a reasonable standard of both written and verbal English. 

Courses can be delivered in other languages however, this would need to be discussed prior to acceptance on the course. It is the responsibility of the person making the booking to make Roxby aware of this requirement.

Assessment and Certification:

On successful completion of the course assessments, delegates will be awarded an IOSH Managing Safely certificate.


Additional Information:

The course, although to prepare delegates for assessments and examination based on IOSH material, can be tailored to accommodate and incorporate client’s internal procedures, risk assessment, health and safety management systems including policy documentation, accident investigation procedure, as well as incorporating site images.
